Classmates,

We have been in touch with Scott Mitchell’s wife, Anita.  She wanted Scott’s friends to know that she has arranged for a Memorial Service to be held at the Methodist Church, 7970 Old Redwood Highway, Wilderville, Oregon on July 26th at 2PM. There will be a reception with  catered light refreshments at her home afterward, which is about 2 miles from the Church. She has also arranged for reduced room rates at the Holiday Inn Express in Grants Pass.  Mention ”The Mitchell Memorial” at the time of booking a room. 

Anyone who can make it is welcome.  She knows that it is short notice, but, if you can make it, please give her a call so she can have an idea about how many people will be there.  Leave a message in the Guest Book and we will get back to you with her number.

Scott was determined to be at our 50th.  But, that is not to be.  Hugh extended an invitation to Anita to come and be with us in his absence and as our guest. 

By the way, there are many nice postings in the Guest Book and on Facebook.

I will transfer some of the Facebook posts to the Guest Book here on our web site.  I will let Anita know that your memories of Scott are there.
